The Role

 

The role will support all operations within the Batley site & will be instrumental in the growth & development of our B2B & B2C business.  This role will focus predominately on growing & developing our eCommerce business.  Through strong leadership you will lead & empower a team of staff, trainees & volunteers to deliver high levels of excellent customer service while offering support, direction & inspiration when needed.  You will develop a strong sense of teamwork working together to deliver high levels of performance across the whole business. Full oversight and management of product supply, storage, inventory systems, sales & returns within a large warehouse environment is required. To be responsible for the financial management of the Batley eCommerce operation in collaboration with senior management; responsibility for a budget of £m+.  To be proactive in the overall strategic direction & development of the business and its people.  To lead teams through change with clarity & excellent communication.  To work collaboratively, liaising & building strong working relationships with management teams at all levels and within other departments to improve the overall operation. Must be adaptable & flexible in approach, be target driven & business focused. To be passionate about people & the work Oxfam does raising vital funds and communicating Oxfam’s message to the public.

  • Have excellent inter-personal skills – with the ability to communicate, influence, provide leadership & present information & ideas at all levels both internally & externally when required
  • Have experience in working successfully in collaboration with others across teams & departments.
  • Have experience of managing financials including £m+ budgets. Ability to analyse data to support informed decision making & problem resolution
  • Be able to organise & balance own workload with often conflicting priorities. Be able to demonstrate high levels of resilience.
  • Be adaptable & flexible
  • Have a high level of numeracy & IT literacy.
  • Have experience of managing Health & Safety in a warehouse environment
