Offer DescriptionThe Institute for Physical and Information Technologies (ITEFI-CSIC) and the Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC-CSIC) are offering a two year fully-funded Postdoc position in Artificial Intelligence.The position requires the Postdoc to present a research proposal that must focus on leveraging advanced hardware, in particular using Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) for computational efficiency in AI and big data applications, with a special emphasis on sustainability and speed. For more information about the position requirements check the extended description at the program website.The position is offered in the context of ALLIES postdoctoral training program in Artificial Intelligence led by the Spanish National Research Council, coordinated through the AIHUB Connection, and co-funded by the European Union under the HORIZON EUROPE MSCA COFUND program framework. ALLIES aims to recruit 17 postdoctoral researchers in 2 different Calls who will conduct interdisciplinary and intersectorial research in Artificial Intelligence aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.The candidates will be working with Dr Jorge Fernández Cruza (ITEFI) and Dr Luca Fiorini (IFIC).
