- Lead and direct other electrical assemblers.
- 4px;”>Determine location, arrangement, and mounting of electrical and electronic components.
- Assist with troubleshooting the electrical system at power-up and run-off.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, national standards, and Jones’ practices.
- Work from parts lists, schematics, wiring diagrams, written and verbal instructions.
- tyle=”font-size: 14px;”>Read and interpret entry-level mechanical blueprints and bill of materials.
- Assist in the assembly, testing, and tear down (shipping prep) of packaging machinery.
- Provide information to be used in the development of training and equipment manuals.
- Identify defective materials and errors during assembly.
- Maintain safe and organized work area.
- May be asked to travel on service calls for support or training purposes.
- font-size: 14px;”>Communication and teamwork with project management, other peers, and engineers.
- Direct interaction with customers.
- Turbo to other departments when directed.
- Use equipment such as: general hand and power tools, precision measuring tools, conduit benders, pipe threading equipment, saws, shear, plasma cutter, buffers, lathe, fork truck, scissors lift, generators, label printer, and stud-gun.
- Support to continually improve work processes.
- Prompt time keeping.
- Monitor and facilitate ordering of electrical ND materials.
Supervision Received: Minimal.Supervision Given: Provide training and direction to new hires and newly assigned employees.What You Need to Be SuccessfulQualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work from advance schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Equivalent to 3 to 4 years practical trades training.
- 5 or more year’s industrial electrical experience.
Physical Demands:
- Lift weight up to 50 pounds.
- Constant walking and standing required.
Work Environment:
- Safety glasses and steel-toed shoes are required.
- Some exposures to dust, dirt, noise and smoke.
