Job Title: Facilities Electrical Technician

Sparktel are currently recruiting for a Facilities Electrical Technician to join our client in Shannon, Co. Clare. Our client provides a range of aviation solutions including maintenance, modifications, design, training and engineering to customers across Europe. The successful candidate will work across two sites in Shannon and will report to the Facilities ManagerResponsibilities

• Preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities
• Carry out electrical plant installations and services
• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning plant & equipment
• Support the operation and maintenance of the Building Management System
• PAT testing
• Ensure all relevant job cards and other documentation are completed and submitted promptly.
• Supporting supervision and co-ordination of third-party contractors.
• Provide monthly on-call cover as part of a Facilities Team roster.
• Supporting the introduction of a Facilities Management software system.
• Implementing and supporting of safe working practices and maintenance standards.

Experience Required

• 2+ years post qualification experience in a similar position.
• A relevant electrical trade qualification.
• Experience in HVAC, 10kV distribution systems, UPS systems, elevators and fire detection/ protection systems
• Experience with Building Management System operations is an advantage.
