Location: Gliwice (office) possible assignmentsThe purpose of this position is to provide overall engineering execution leadership on small sized projects, small / sustaining capital projects (SCP), mid-size projects within a multi project group (MPG), or Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA).
Key responsibilities include:
- Active participation in meetings conducted in English, managing the discussion from the point of view of protecting the interests of the Investor.
- Assignment of tasks, accounting for their completion, approval of ongoing paperwork.
- Preparation of various types of correspondence in English (emails, letters, memos) in favor of the Investor in order to protect his interests, with particular emphasis on quality issues, timing issues and protection against contractor claims.
- Review of documents prepared by the contractor for compliance with the contract, technical content, compliance with the schedule.
- Monitoring the aforementioned documents and providing comments and early warnings to the investor.
- Coordination of cooperation with the Investor’s engineering department and its supervision inspectors.
- Creating relevant reports for the client
Basic Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering field of study.
- 10 years’ industrial site experience on similar position.
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Fluent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Strong organizational and people skills.
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
