This will be your network and it is constantly growing. Your primary function will be to ensure that the network is reliable, robust and can scale to meet the challenges that serving over a billion users presents. This is a full time position, based in our Warsaw offices.Enterprise Network Engineer, University Grad ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot network issues and outages, and implement solutions to prevent recurrenceCollaborate with other engineering groups to ensure our network infrastructure continues to support applications and services effectivelyMonitor network performance and integrity, and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance and reliabilityParticipate in on-call rotation for network supportBuild tools in support of network data analysis and production executionDevelop optimized network monitoring systemsDevelop automated methods to mitigate and remediate network eventsAnalyze data to diagnose and identify root causes to network issuesBe an active participant in technical discussionsDevelop and maintain consistency within the network infrastructureMinimum QualificationsCurrently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining MetaExperience with computer networksExperience with UNIX, TCP/IP, network fundamentals, or similarExperience coding in at least one language (Python/Golang/Rust/C++ are all in use)Experience learning new concepts around network design and managementMust obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employmentPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of Switching and Routing concepts and implementationKnowledge of routing protocols BGP, OSPF and ISISKnowledge of tunneling protocols SRv6, MPLSAbout MetaMeta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
