This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects in different geographical regions, contributing to environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance.Environmental Assessment: Conduct environmental assessments, including site evaluations, impact assessments, and environmental audits, in accordance with local regulations and international standards.Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on environmental regulations and permitting requirements in both the Republic of Ireland and the Middle East. Ensure project activities adhere to applicable laws and guidelines.Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in both regions. Understand client needs, provide expert advice, and deliver high-quality environmental consulting services to meet project objectives.Project Management: Take ownership of projects from inception to completion, including proposal development, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.Technical Expertise: Apply technical expertise in areas such as air quality, water resources, waste management, and sustainability to support project requirements. Provide innovative solutions to environmental challenges and optimize project outcomes.Cross-Cultural Communication: Navigate cultural differences and language barriers effectively when working with clients, stakeholders, and project teams in diverse geographic locations. Adapt communication styles as necessary to foster collaboration and understanding.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on projects in both the Republic of Ireland and the Middle East.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes in both regions.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting environmental assessments, impact studies, and regulatory compliance assessments.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Effective communication skills, including proficiency in English and preferably additional languages relevant to the Middle East region.
