Would you like to participate in the transformation of the Waste Management industry in Hungary?Would you be happy to drive the change towards Circular Economy?Would you like to work in a professionally talented and dynamic team?Then we are the place for you!MOHU MOL Waste Management Ltd. is looking for new colleagues for the following position:EPR Environmental AnalystThe scope of the positionThe External Environmental Analyst will play a key role in analyzing and advising on compliance with EPR regulations. You will be responsible for conducting research, assessing environmental impact, and providing strategic recommendations to the company on waste management, product lifecycle, and sustainable practices.Main tasks:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of EPR regulations and best practices, including national and international policies.
  • Assess the environmental and economic implications of EPR-related policies and their interpretations by the main stakehoders.
  • Monitor and report on changes in environmental regulations and how they affect business practices.
  • Follow and analyze relevant international stakeholder groups’ practices and statements.
  • Provide recommendations for product lifecycle improvements, including design for recycling.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations to support stakeholders through decision making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Environmental Science or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental analysis, sustainability consulting, or regulatory compliance
  • Fluency in written and verbal English
  • In-depth knowledge of circular economy principles
  • Strong understanding of local and national environmental regulations and waste management systems.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
