We have an exciting opportunity for an Equine Diagnostic Imaging Technician to complement our busy Equine Diagnostic Imaging team. The applicant will be integral to our dynamic team of vets, technicians, and students. This post would suit a friendly team player who is hardworking, caring, and enthusiastic. The ideal candidate should have an interest in diagnostic imaging as well as a high motivation, diligence, and perseverance to learn or improve a challenging skill set.
It is essential that the candidate has exceptional horse handling skills, has worked in a commercial equine environment, and also has an excellent understanding of Equine behaviour, anatomy and physiology. Diagnostic imaging experience is preferable, but not essential as full specialist training and support will be provided. The position is part of a career development scheme offering a step-wise increase in remuneration with increasing levels of skills and experience over several years of service.
Besides acquiring diagnostic images with our advanced equipment, the role will involve maintaining diagnostic archiving systems and student teaching.
