Together, these businesses provide industry-leading ways to serve customers around the world.Job DescriptionAs an ESG Reporting Operations Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the data collection process to generate ESG disclosures and ensuring the accuracy and transparency of our ESG disclosures. You will also develop, implement and monitor internal control part of the ESG reporting processes. You will drive continuous improvement and supports projects as a Subject Matter Expert.We all have a critical role to play and add value. Here is how this role will help:
- Develop and maintain ESG reporting processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and analyze ESG data to support accurate and timely reporting, ensuring compliance with ESG frameworks such as CSRD, TCFD, and SASB
- Support the implementation of ESG internal controls framework
- Utilize analytical skills to interpret ESG data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making and strategic initiatives
- Leverage knowledge in data analytics and Power BI to enhance the visualization and communication of ESG performance indicators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead complex ESG projects, engaging with stakeholders to drive ESG initiatives and ensure effective communication of ESG-related activities
- Stay updated with evolving ESG reporting standards, industry best practices, and emerging trends to enhance Syngenta Group’s ESG reporting capabilities
- Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail in all ESG-related documentation and disclosures

- BSc or MSc in Finance, Economics, Accounting
- 5+ years of experience in finance, financial reporting, compliance, accounting, auditing or data management required
- Excellent analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, comfortable with large datasets and IT systems
- Fluency in English
- Interest in ESG, attention to quality and details, willingness to learn, investigate, and solve problems
- Experience in ESG reporting, ESG assurance, and ESG ratings is an advantage
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks (CSRD, TCFD, SASB) and ability to interpret and implement them is a plus
- Knowledge of data analytics tools, use of AI, and Power BI; knowledge of Enablon is a plus
- Ability to lead cross-functional complex projects, including stakeholder management skills
- Chinese language skills would be an advantage
