The opportunity
If you offer excellent administrative and customer service skills and are interested in working in events that support making creative education accessible to more people, this is an exciting opportunity to work with the University of the Arts London Awarding Body (UAL Awarding Body).
UAL Awarding Body works with a variety of further education institutions, universities, and specialised arts and creative industry schools to deliver UAL qualifications in art and design, fashion, creative media, music and performing arts. UAL Awarding Body hosts an annual programme of events to support centres which are approved to deliver our qualifications.
You will provide support with the organisation of UAL Awarding Body’s events, conferences, workshops and exhibitions across the UK. This will involve providing administrative support, dealing with a variety of stakeholders such as speakers, event staff and organisers via email, telephone and face to face contact, as well as sourcing and booking venues, catering, technical support and other resources.
Additional responsibilities will include booking travel arrangements for event facilitators and speakers and maintaining an events database, consisting of venues, suppliers and logistical companies.
The role will involve travelling across the UK in order to attend events.
About you
The role demands exceptional organisational skills, a strong eye for detail and a clear focus on customer service and the customer experience.
You will need relevant administrative experience and will be comfortable working both as part of a team and independently.
You will also need excellent communication and ICT skills.
If you have any queries about this role or need any reasonable adjustments for your application, please contact Twinkle Brahmbhatt, Senior Resourcing Adviser via email at [email protected]
