We are seeking to appoint an Evidence Synthesis Manager to join the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health at the Nuffield Department of Medicine. As the IDDO Evidence Synthesis Manager, you will work across the IDDO portfolio of emerging infections, neglected diseases and malaria data themes.

The role will be varied and include providing methodological support for evidence synthesis design and implementation, training delivery, development and ownership of IDDO’s evidence synthesis systems and processes, and supervision of screening and data extraction services.

You will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge on best practice and act as IDDO’s subject matter expert in the field. Leading the maintenance and development of IDDO evidence synthesis documentation, manuals and SOPs to reflect best practice in the field.

It is essential that you hold a graduate degree in a relevant scientific or health related discipline. Applicants with undergraduate degree will be considered if they have significant relevant experience. Experience of working on or managing evidence synthesis projects, including systematic review, for biomedical research including familiarity with relevant search databases, registries and guidance (such as PubMed, Cochrane, PROSPERO, PRISMA) is required.
