Job Title: Experienced EMEA Sales Account Manager F&F Ingredients – Perfumery & Beauty

Location: Grasse, or any dsm-firmenich affiliate in Europe

Job model: Hybrid

As the Experienced EMEA Sales Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth and profitability by establishing dsm-firmenich as the clients’ key supplier and sustainable partner. Perimeter includes Turkey and Middle East regional accounts, and local affiliates of Global Key Accounts in coordination with Global Key Accounts Managers. The position is reporting to EMEA Sales Director.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Define accounts objectives and new business opportunities, develop strategy, implement through account plan execution and internal coordination.

  • Negotiate with customer best commercial terms (revenues, margins and cash) based on division, region objectives and strategy.

  • Understand and anticipate clients’ needs, lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities. Measure market opportunity, define strategy to address it in a sustainable way.

  • Oversee entire value chain to ensure and monitor customer satisfaction and initiate corrective action through internal leadership. Stay close to operational, supply and purchasing teams to win collectively.

  • Build the annual sales budget and monitor sales and profitability vs target, for the regional perimeter.

  • Share visit reports, clients’ information and feedback, competitive intelligence, contributing to dsm-firmenich overall growth.

You bring:

  • 5 years experiences in Ingredients Industry (Sales, purchasing, …) and Bachelors or Master’s degree or equivalent (business administration, economics, marketing, science…)

  • Team player, autonomous, adaptable, and humble; Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy; Listening skills

  • Fluent in English and local language (for example French if the position is in France); Excellent knowledge of Pack office, Excel. SAP is a plus.

  • Ability to develop successfully client relationship and to position dsm-firmenich as a key business partner; Advanced sales and negotiation skills; Ability to define, prioritize and implement action plans according to business opportunities and success factors, through decision-making skills and leadership position internally,

  • Strong understanding of dsm-firmenich and client business, overall business and finance acumen (pricing, sales & profitability, expenses, overdues…), and supply chain understanding (product life cycle, demand planning, order pattern…),

  • Perfumery ingredients expertise (product, market, consumer, technical/technology) and passion for fragrance ingredients are a plus; Knowledge, experience, and proven track record in EMEA is plus
