The team is elevating the way the business is shaping Roche’s workforce by unlocking the strategic potential of our total workforce with a framework for external workforce (EW) and data-driven, skill-based workforce solutions.The Opportunity:As an External Workforce Product & Data Analyst, you support Roche’s cross-functional EW Framework & Enablement with regards to efficient & compliant processes related to EW management:you enable efficient & compliant EW processes aiming at mutually beneficial experience for external partners (with our cross-functional partners)you contribute to data accuracy of external workforce data e.g. by supporting month-end closing, by regular operational data audits, as well as driving data enhancement processes and/or initiativesyou contribute to the transparency of our external workforce across Roche by preparing workforce reports, reconciling data from our Finance and P&C systems and by supporting the regular reporting to senior management or for auditsyou might also support initiatives to enrich the total workforce data across Roche, drive automation and efficient Workforce Optimization operations and support data requests in the context of workforce strategy projectsyou closely partner with WFO colleagues to ensure a good understanding of the data & technology requirements & needs and translate them into data productsyou keep track on feedback, challenges and administrative requests of the Roche Responsible Persons (via PSS) and loop this back into EW product designyou might support the design and offering of trainings for Roche Responsible Persons, regarding their responsibilities, the external partner lifecycle and the EW infrastructureWho you are:You hold a Bachelor’s degree in the field of business administration, human resources or similar and 3-4 years of work experience in matrixed, global and data related settings within People & Culture and/or the business, with strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)You are a data-driven mind with expertise in data analysis, analytics and interpretation, with strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets (incl. formulas) and coding & execution skills in Google app scripts, Google Lookers, RStudio, etc. You leverage data & translate them into action and can address complex problems via data-driven solutionsYou know how to use MyBuy, External Partner Portal (ServiceNow technology) and Workday and you have experience in executing data loads into ServiceNow (backend) and in writing ServiceNow reportsYou have good communication skills and know how to communicate data and how engage stakeholder or customers with a customer centric mindset and you can effectively contribute to cross-functional teams, based on global time zones, also in intercultural settingsYou can successfully adapt to different needs (e.g. short and longer term), navigate ambiguity in complex environments and react quickly and strategically to changing priorities. You also contribute to a positive customer experience in such dynamic, complex and matrix environmentsIdeally, you are aware of learning and change management approaches and you also know programming in R, Python or Appscript and/or how to apply AI / algorithms / Libraries (e.g. CRAN, dplyr, Hugging Face)In exchange we provide you withDevelopment opportunities: Roche is rich in learning resources.
