Your role as Facilities Team Leader

We are looking for experienced and customer focused Facilities Team Leader to join our team at Jubilee Campus. Main duties will include the organisation and supervision of the Building Attendant team and the cleaning operation, including maintaining the cleaning requirements within the area to a high standard.  As well as being the first point of contact for visitors to the area which includes dealing with large numbers of enquiries face to face, by phone and by e-mail ensuring excellent customer service is always achieved. 

A large part of this role includes and setting up meeting rooms ensuring adequate supplies of consumables are available for teaching and conferences, and locking and unlocking of designated areas of the building issuing and receiving keys from staff and contractors ensuring relevant policies and procedures are always adhered to.

You will be responsible for auditing the service the team provides, inspecting the infrastructure of the buildings, reporting maintenance issues ensuring compliance. You will induct, train, and supervise the team carrying out appraisal conversations as required. 

Candidates should have experience of working in a similar customer facing environment and have relevant cleaning experience. You will also have experience of supervising staff and ideally have basic maintenance experience and knowledge of fire and security alarm systems.

Hours of work are, 30 hours per week, working mainly Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between 7.00am and 1.30pm and Saturday and Sunday between 6.00am and 12.30pm. Flexibility will be required.
