We are looking for a Fermentation & Bioprocess Associate for a maternity leave replacement within our Global Research team.Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Biological Sciences, PhD will be considered a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in agricultural microbiology (focused on plant nutrition and/or soil health) in companies or research centers
  • Basic knowledge of microbial fermentation techniques at laboratory scale
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office package
  • Excellent command of English

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct microbiological analysis of environmental samples, biostimulants, and raw materials
  • Study kinetics and optimize fermentation processes
  • Maintain microbial cultures under conditions of absolute sterility and purity
  • Collaborate with the team to support laboratory research projects
  • Contribute research ideas and actively participate in activity planning
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of methods, sample processing, and results
  • Assist in general laboratory maintenance and equipment operation
  • Produce prototypes and biological samples for plant testing or chemical analysis
  • Write detailed reports on activities carried out and results obtained
  • Use various laboratory-scale fermenters for the production of biological samples
