• Your role will be to provide excellent service and support to our instruments and customers. This includes preventive maintenance, safety repairs, installing, upgrading, and qualifying instruments such as IQ/OQ.
• You will be working primarily with a key account based in Stevenage. To a lesser extend, you will also be expected to service other customers in UK.
• You will also resolve issues through hardware and software troubleshooting. With a focus on customer satisfaction, you will communicate with customers via email and telephone to ensure resolution and follow-up.
• You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of the performance data of the equipment, service records, and the stock of spare parts.
• You will work with colleagues in the wider UK sales team to ensure customer needs are met.

Qualifications

• To qualify for this role, you have an HND in Engineering or in a comparable field, as well as at least 2 years of experience in equipment support for biotech instrumentation, field service repair, fluid control systems, and system-level electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Clean room experience is preferred.
• The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and able to travel up to 40% of their working time, including occasional international travel.
