The opportunity

This role will be based within the UAL Central Finance and provide dedicated financial support to Knowledge Exchange network across the University. The post holder will assist in the smooth and efficient execution of day-to-day financial administration and will be expected to undertake a variety of accounting duties in a busy office environment, working independently and exercising judgement to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

We are a friendly and welcoming team, with varied skills and experiences from multiple different backgrounds. We actively support individual personal and professional development throughout the finance function and would work with the post holder to identify development opportunities within the role.

About you

You will be a finance professional with a successful track record in delivering a high standard of financial administration, preferably in the higher education or creative sector.

 

You will have a proactive approach together with strong communication skills, including experience of liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will have the ability to prepare relevant and timely financial information and deliver it concisely to both finance and non-finance focused individuals. You will need to be comfortable working in a developing and ambitious environment, with a diverse workload which you will need to prioritise and manage effectively.
