Job description
- Manage daily accounting activities such as journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
- Oversee the complete accounts payable cycle, from purchase order processing through payment execution
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations on international transactions by processing and verifying customs documentation according to Italian and other relevant countries’ laws
- Collaborate with internal teams to secure timely approvals, ensure accurate expense coding, and validate employee travel expense reports
- Support month-end and year-end close processes to meet reporting deadlines
- Maintain well-organized financial records aligned with internal policies and local regulatory requirements
- Assist with VAT reporting and ensure adherence to compliance mandates
- Prepare data for periodic CONAI declarations and manage periodic Intrastat declarations
- Support annual audits by preparing documentation and ensuring robust internal controls
- Partner with the broader finance team to continuously improve process efficiency and accuracy
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience within a manufacturing or operational environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable workflows
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of VAT regulations and Italian financial compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical abilities, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail
- Fluent in Italian with a working proficiency in English (mandatory)
