The Role:

Oxfam GB is looking for Finance Assistant to provide specialized financial support to Poland country team and in relation to the organizational objectives and to work with others to complete timely, accurate, and high-quality financial reports

What we are looking for: 

We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam’s mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

  • A university degree or Advanced Diploma, preferably in business, accounting and/or relevant fields.
  • Can be a fresh graduate, with an interest in finance and accounting.
  • A good working knowledge and understanding of project cycle.
  • Good administrative, strong organizational and planning skills, detail oriented with ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines.
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office is needed, especially MS Excel
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish; Ukrainian or Russian is an
  • Preferably, proven experience working in a similar
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, good team player and builder
  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse
  • Ability to learn/adapt to a fast-changing environment and numerous, conflicting job requirements
