Finance Manager

We are looking to appoint a Finance Manager.   Reporting to the Head of Administration and Finance, you will responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of the department’s finances, including advising on and preparing annual budgets, monthly financial reports, and effective management of the finance team.  The post is based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital.   This is a permanent full-time post; however, we would consider a part time appointment (minimum of 0.8 FTE) with a commensurate adjustment in the responsibilities and duties on a pro rata basis. 

We are seeking an experienced, professional individual with a strong financial management background.   You should have or be working towards a recognized professional accountancy qualification as ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA).   With excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, you will need to work well with others and communicate effectively with a wide range of people.   Experience of working in the Higher Education sector in a research-intensive organization would be desirable.
