Role SummaryThe NTMA Finance function provides a range of financial and transaction support services to all business areas within the NTMA.NTMA Finance is now recruiting a Finance Officer in the Finance Operations team within NTMA Finance, reporting to the Finance Manager. This is a permanent role.Principal AccountabilitiesFinance Operations

  • Administration of NTMA staff expenses including administration of NTMA credit cards.
  • Assistance with preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Intercompany billing preparation.
  • Assistance with the preparation of tax returns such as VAT, PSWT, where required.
  • Assistance with preparation of daily and monthly management information e.g. aged debtors reports and KPI’s.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly billing processed on behalf of business areas, including the State Claims Agency and National Development Finance Agency.
  • Assistance with payment verification including call-backs.
  • Assisting with projects including system implementations.
  • Assisting with the documentation of processes/procedures/controls as required.
  • Assisting team with training opportunities where required.

Experience

  • Finance professional with experience working as an administrator in the finance area or a finance department.
  • Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable or finance operations would be an advantage.

Knowledge

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in other Microsoft Packages.
  • Experience with accounting or staff expenses systems would be an advantage.
