Our finance function plays a critical role in financial control and reporting, with well-established processes and procedure in place. However, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to propose and implement enhancements. We offer a collaborate and supportive work environment with an excellent work-life balance.Role Description:This role will include the following:Prepare monthly management accountsCompiling monthly financial reports for senior management and the board of directorsConducting monthly balance sheet reconciliationsAssisting in the preparation of annual budgets and projections in collaboration with the CFOManaging daily cashflow and reconciliationsOverseeing cost controlProcessing fortnightly staff payrollCoordinating with external and internal auditors as requiredProviding training to junior members of the teamPerforming other ad hoc finance duties as required Persons SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsA methodical approach with a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyConfidence and proficiency in both verbal and written communicationThe ability to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and targets within a small team environmentAdaptability and proactive approach to taking on new tasks and projectsCompetencyLevelTeamwork and collaborationStrong to Very StrongPeople management and leadershipStrongPlanning and priority settingVery StrongCommunication and influencingVery StrongProblem solving and decision makingVery StrongResults focusVery strongStrategic thinking and commercial acumenVery StrongIT incl.
