Financial Controller (m/f) – fulltime (40h)

As a Financial Controller, you are among other things responsible for the controlling processes, the budget and forecasting process and support in Finance projects and audits. You work in close contact with the controlling and accounting teams to make sure all the processes run smoothly. You will report to the Team Leader Accounting.

What you can expect:

-Support the controlling-processes within the month-end, quarterly and year-end close of 5 legal entities.
-Support the budget and forecasting process in a regular and strong collaboration with the business controlling and the accounting teams.
-Active participation in Month-, Quarterly-, and Year End closing in Accounting, by calculating provisions and recording bookings.
-Support in Finance Projects such as Asset accounting, Inventory Handling and systems implementation.
-Booking of daily business cases (incoming payments, accruals, adjustments) and ad hoc tasks.
-Support external audit and tax declarations and calculations.
-Support finance’s processes documentation.
-Support annual reports and AGM minutes.
-Any other reasonable duties as per management request.

Your profile:

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration or related areas with majors in Controlling / Accounting or an equivalent further education in Finance / Controlling.
-3-5 years’ experience in Controlling or Accounting, ideally in an international company.
-Experience working in SAP FI & CO modules.
-Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, quick thinking, and ability to communicate on all levels.
-Process improvement mindset.
-High degree of independence, self-starter and team player mentality.
-Able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities successfully.
-Pays close attention to detail and accuracy and flexibility.
-Advanced Excel-Skills and SAP knowledge (FI/CO).
-English fluent, Dutch of advantage.
