Our purpose – Celebrating life, every day, everywhere – has an important role in our company, for our people, our diversity, our brands, in how we perform and how we create shared value.About functionFinancial Control is currently our biggest function in Hungary supporting Europe, North-America and Africa.About the roleThe Financial Controlling Lead Analyst supports the Financial Controller and the market, coordinates and supervises activities of FC analyst within the team and supports/ coordinates other departments. Will support the market/other departments with technical related questions and issue resolution, also support people in different functions such as tax, group accounting when it comes to financial controlling, technical accounting matters.Key accountabilitiesSupport key financial controlling processes: month end and period end closes, journal entry preparation, financial statement preparation and review, KPI and data quality monitoring, balance sheet review preparation, adherence to CARM controlsSupport that statutory and management reporting for the legal entities within the scope of the role is completed accurately, on time and in line with internal and external controls.Prepare year-end statutory adjustments and transfer pricing reports with the relevant stakeholders in the market and in Group.Support the FAC process, provide analysis for the FAC completionAbout YouBachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, business, or accounting3-4 years’ experience in relevant areaExcellent business English knowledgeGood Risk Management (Internal Controls, Managing Risk, Embedding Compliance & Ethics)Strong Financial Controlling knowledge (Balance sheet, Group and Local Financial Reporting, Accounting principles)Strong analytical and technical skillsAbility of building and sustaining close working relationships and influencing Senior managementBenefits Working hereOpportunity to climb up on the career ladderWe won the Fittest Workplace Award, of course we have a GymUrban legend is true, we do have a Rooftop BarEasy to reach downtown locationOur unique brands are available in our staff shopWe live our values and color our livesInclusion & DiversityCelebrating our inclusive and diverse culture is core to Diageo’s purpose of “celebrating life every day everywhere”.
