Our multinational client is looking for a Fixed Assets Accounting Supervisor colleague for their team.The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with minimum 5 years of accounting experience, team coordinator/SME experience, and excellent English knowledge.Your tasks will be as a Fixed Assets Supervisor:Maintain and update Fixed Asset ledger accounts for US GAAP and local GAAP.
Perform account reconciliations and settle internal orders.
Run depreciation and make necessary journal entries.
Prepare annual movement schedules and support property tax filings.
Manage internal orders for fixed assets under construction.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of fixed asset ledgers.
Communicate discrepancies and manage physical asset counts and tagging.
Support monthly corporate reporting and maintain closing schedules.
Analyze balance sheets and income statements for discrepancies.
Process accruals and prepare monthly Fixed Asset roll forwards.
Assist with Quarterly Variance Reports and corporate questionnaires.
Distribute Quarterly FA Impairment Memo and Fixed Asset Register.
Assist with special projects and general accounting system requests.
Support internal control reviews and audit requests.
Resolve auditing issues and ensure compliance with corporate policies.Requirements:Minimum 5 years of fixed assets or general accounting experience
SME or team coordinator experience
Fluent in English and other European language is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Strong communication and presentation skills for interacting with team members, business partners, and senior management.
Strong knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP accounting.
