Job Description:
The Supply Chain department of the Eramet group is looking for a Flow Simulation Manager (m/f). the Flow Simulation Manager will be responsible for coordinating various modeling projects and providing technical expertise to model the most complex cases for the Group. Reporting to the Head of the Supply Chain Department within the Technical Division. The role is based in Paris 15e.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality of the implemented flow simulations
- Provide technical assistance to level 1 and 2 users in their use of the flow simulation methods and tools
- Take charge of certain flow modeling and simulation projects, particularly the more complex ones
- Lead a user community to share best practices and ensure consistency of models between comparable structures
- Coordinate the management of the flow simulation study portfolio, track the progress of the studies, and ensure proper management of the associated documents and models
- Conduct both methodological and technological monitoring of flow simulation to ensure that Eramet uses the best available solutions
- Participate in operational excellence initiatives across the group’s various sites, either as a Supply Chain expert or in supervising local teams
- Act as a Supply Chain expert in group projects.
Your profile:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering with minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Expertise in using flow simulation tools such as Arena, Flexsim, Witness, Plants, AnyLogic, and ExtendSim.
- Strong knowledge of the SCOR model, and proficiency in continuous improvement tools, particularly Lean Six Sigma (APICS certification is a plus).
- Ability to work independently in a multicultural environment, with intellectual curiosity and strong listening skills. Natural leadership with the ability to unite teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and rigorous work capabilities.
