Position Summary:As a Food & Beverage Manager at Westport Estate, you will play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional dining and service experiences across our hotel and bistro restaurants. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for hospitality, you will ensure service excellence, operational efficiency, and team engagement consistent with the standards of a luxury hotel.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Ensure all F&B outlets provide exceptional service.
  • Proactively engage with guests, respond to feedback, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor service delivery throughout the shift to ensure consistency, quality, and personalisation.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise and support the front-of-house team, including servers, hosts and bartenders.
  • Conduct training and onboarding for new team members, with ongoing coaching and mentorship.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and service excellence.

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily shift operations including scheduling, floor management, and staff deployment.
  • Ensure all service areas comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Coordinate with culinary, stewarding, and other hotel departments to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Support outlet readiness, mise en place, and opening/closing duties.

Administrative Support

  • Assist with inventory control, requisitions, and stock management of supplies and service ware.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, pre-shift briefings, and VIP planning sessions.
  • Help manage labour efficiency, revenue tracking, and operational reporting as needed.

Financial Oversight

  • Budget planning and cost control.
  • Monitor inventory, reduce waste, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Analyze profit margins and make improvements.

  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of multi-outlet operations (restaurant, bar, in-room dining, banquets).
  • Solid knowledge of food and beverage service standards, wine and spirits, and upscale guest interaction.
  • Proven leadership, team development, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Professional grooming, communication, and presentation.
  • Proficient in POS systems and hotel platforms
  • Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed.
