We’re driving the development of Ku band user terminal solutions for commercial passenger aircraft and military land vehicles. This innovative solution connects to all satellite networks, meeting stringent military and commercial aviation standards. As Chief Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in design reviews, qualification test plans, and advising the team on standards compliance, reporting directly to the SVP of Engineering.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical advisement for compliance with aviation standards
Lead formal qualification tests, developing plans, procedures, and ground support equipment
Support engineering team in cost and performance trade studies
Assist in requirement analysis and RFI/RFP responses
Chair design reviews and product lifecycle gate reviews
Assess the viability of initial product concepts
Mentor less experienced engineers to enhance systems engineering discipline
Establish a route map to the achievement of Part 21J DOA status
Independently review system-level technical data as part of the formal release process

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Requirements:

Degree in Engineering or Science
Proficient understanding of regulatory standards (ARP4754A, MIL-STD-810, IEC-60945, ITU, FCC, ETSI) for Ku/Ka satcom user terminal development
Experience in designing Ku/Ka band AESA
Excellent understanding of challenges in AESA development
