We’re always looking towards the future, anticipating changes in medical science and technology.We currently looking for a Franchise Controller to join our Controlling Department.​The OpportunityThis position works out of our Weesp and Olst locations in the Controlling Department.As a Franchise Controller, you’ll lead one of the 3 local Value Streams, assisting senior leadership to achieve business targets, drive improvement and control/ understand variances in results. Main responsibilities – financial analysis, cost and process improvement, risk prevention and budgeting, ensuring the financial health and stability of the business.What You’ll DoYou provide insight into the business to support operational and strategic decision making. You are responsible for preparing, developing and analyzing financial information and delivering high quality reports, review key business driversLeading budgeting process for your value stream – develop business plans with your business partners and define ways to identify gaps, opportunitiesWork with the local Controlling team on month end close and audit processesClose contact with local team: Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality and Engineering but also accounting department. Often interactions with DivisionMonthly financial results review and identify trends proactively, highlight issues and work in partnership with the business to plan appropriate actions. Considering the size of the business, generally you have a high involvement into various aspects of the businessPerforming various business economic reviews and strategic scenario analysesAct as a point of contact in the field of (financial) process improvementRequired QualificationsUniversity degree in Business administration, Finance or Accounting;8 – 10 years of work experience in a similar positionPersistent, analytical and technically mindedCommitted to delivering high standards, even under pressureExpertise in innovative methods and processes of controlling, accounting and project /risk managementStrong time management and problem-solving skills, strategic thinkingHigh degree of initiative and self-organization, as well as communication and team competencesFluent in EnglishCurrently living in the Netherlands.Working at AbbottAt Abbott, you can do work that matters, grow and learn, care for yourself and your family, be your true self and live a full life.
