About the Role

As a Functional Implementation Consultant, You will assist the Lead Consultant and support various types of workshops at the customer location & remotely whilst gathering, business process analysis and leading to definition of user requirement specifications, functional design specifications and the solution proposal etc. You will define and document solution outline/architecture, functional design specifications, interface design specifications.

You will play a key role to the translation of our EMEA customer business goals/requirements into solutions based on Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) products OpsCenter mostly related to the Process Industry Food & Beverage, Chemical and Automotive Industry including Battery production.

Area of Responsibility

• You will play an important role in the link between the customer and our software, assisting the translation of the customer’s processes into a Functional Design which will be the basis for our project implementation.
• During the project implementation you will work closely together with the technical consultants, supporting them to translate the functional specifications into technical design and implement this into a final solution.
• Defining the proper quality test plans/protocols together with the customer to ensure the required quality level for the solution will a crucial to success in this role.
• Maintaining professional relationship with customer and other internal and external stakeholders is very important to the role.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in engineering or equivalent consulting experience as consultant, preferably in the Process Industry such as chemicals and F&B, or in Automotive industry focusing on Quality.
• Knowledge on continuous or batch production environments will be supportive for this role.
• A first experience in integrating with SAP system or other automation systems can be a advantage.
• Knowledge of Digital Manufacturing solutions with exposure to LIMS/PLM solutions is highly desirable.
• Have strong IT affinity, understanding latest software technologies/code can be beneficial. Having experience with an agile/scrum approach is a strong benefit.
• You will be fluent in English given the international nature of the post
• Skills: Communicative, analytical, customer-oriented, bold, flexible, autonomous, and structured
