InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal
An extraordinary opportunity beckons for a Luxury General Manager to lead InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal. Located just a short distance from Paris and the airport, the luxurious 5-star property offers a perfect blend of nature and history. Nestled within Chantilly Forest, the hotel provides an elegant and contemporary retreat, skillfully combining sophistication with bold modern design elements. This historical property will be rebranded into an InterContinental and will be scheduled to reopen in July 2024.
The hotel will have 109 rooms and is situated in a 19th-century castle. It is located in a remote setting with its own park, tennis courts, and extensive woods. We seek a proactive leader with a proven track record in luxury hospitality to steer our team towards excellence. Your role will encompass orchestrating the hotel’s daily operations, optimizing financial performance, nurturing talent development, and fostering a culture of innovation. Your expertise in curating exceptional luxury experiences and strategically positioning our brand in the luxury market will be paramount. Moreover, your ability to drive commercial success while nurturing a cohesive and motivated team will be instrumental in propelling us towards our future goals.
A little taste of your day-to-day:

Leading the commercial and operational activities of the hotel with a high focus on developing new concepts within Food and Beverage

Highly quality driven to drive guest love scores

Lead and develop a business plan to drive owner returns.

Recruiting, leading, managing and motivating a strong team, upskilling, recruiting, measuring and managing performance.

Reviews and implements strategic initiatives to drive commercial performance across the Hotel and its facilities.

Prioritises relationships with guests and external contacts such as current and potential clients, government officials, travel industry representatives, suppliers and local communities.
What we’d like from you:

Substantial prior upper luxury hotel general management experience, ideally within resort properties.

Experience in pre-openings in luxury properties
-
Proven success in driving commercial returns and revenue.

Excellent owner relationship management.

Track record of building successful teams, especially pre-opening teams.

Strong networking and PR skills.

Commercial F&B successes
-
Must speak fluent English and French
-
Experience of working with the French unions and workers councils would be desirable.
