We are delighted to be working with our client who are a multinational Logistics Solutions company who are seeking a General Operative to join their team on a Permanent Full time basis based in Cork.When applying for this job opportunity, please ensure that you are submitting your updated CV in Word Format.For you:

• Salary: €16 p/hr
• Monday – Friday

Responsibilities:

• Connecting and disconnecting tanks for heating.
• Collecting and distributing HGV parts and materials.
• Shunting trailers to the Test Centre.
• Operating the container reach stacker/handler.
• Managing inventory and verifying the correct handling of products and tanks.
• Keeping the yard clean and free from hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
• Performing general housekeeping duties on-site.
• Carrying out ad hoc tasks as requested by Management.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years in a General Operative or similar role.
• Reach Stacker License is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to use initiative and work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in English.
• Strong attention to detail and diligence in completing tasks.
• Health & Safety awareness and conscientiousness.
• Full clean Driver’s License (CE License is an advantage but not essential).
