The Genomics Applications Specialist will drive pre and post-sales support activities for NGS, dPCR and PHC solutions in Poland and other Eastern Europe countries, by working together with the local Sales teams and Commercial Partners.Key responsibilities:
– Complete workflow training and support both on-site and remote, product demonstrations, and application consulting to current and new customers.
– Cover commercial aspects of the pre- and post-sales support process for QIAGEN’s Genomics portfolio (NGS solutions (QIAseq) and related Bioinformatic solutions), dPCR (QIAcuity) and PHC portfolio (therascreen and ipsogen).
– Proactively maintain and develop positive relationships with customers and assist in the development and maintenance of reference customers.
– Effective weekly/monthly planning of field based activities and activity logging to our CRM.
– Close collaboration with sales colleagues and Commercial Partners to achieve forecast by actively selling to end users and maximizing consumable pull-through
– Close collaboration with R&D, product managers and marketing team by actively providing feedback from the field and bridging communication with customersYour Profile– PhD degree in molecular biology or equivalent in combination with relevant commercial and technical experience.
– Strong hands-on experience in common molecular biology techniques. NGS library preparation and/or dPCR lab experience required.
– Proven work experience in sales and in developing customer relationships is an advantage.
– Knowledge of relevant markets is a plus.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish. Knowledge of an additional Eastern Europe language is a plus.
– Ability to travel up to 80 % primarily in Eastern Europe but occasionally across EMEA.
– Highly motivated and self-organized person with the ability to work independently and in teams in a structured fashion.What we offer– Bonus/Commission
