Global Commercial Training: skills and capabilities lead

This is what you will do:Alexion is a matrix organization focused on serving patients with rare diseases. As the Global Skills and Capabilities Lead within the Global Commercial Training organization at Alexion, you will spearhead the development and implementation of world-class training initiatives that enhance skills and capabilities of our commercial field force across the globe. You will leverage AstraZeneca’s resources and Alexion’s existing material to create impactful training solutions that meet global and local business needs. You will deliver these solutions within the Global Training Alliance.You will be responsible for the following:Develop and Lead Training Programs:Establish and lead the Global Training Partners Group to foster skills and capabilities excellence.Design and deliver training programs aligned with Alexion and AstraZeneca’s strategic goals, utilizing existing resources and creating new materials, as necessary.Collaboration:Partner with cross-functional teams, including Global Medical Training and marketing, and others, to ensure training content aligns with business objectives.Work with country teams to customize training assets that address specific local needs.Work to establish the Global Training Alliance as a globally recognised group driving scientific and skills excellence.Innovate and Optimize:Incorporate new learning technologies and innovative methods to enhance training effectiveness and engagement.Continuously evaluate and improve training approaches to ensure they are impactful and relevant.Performance Monitoring and Reporting:Establish and track key performance indicators for training initiatives.Report on training progress and outcomes to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.You will need to have:Bachelor’s degree in education, Business, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in training and development, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.Proven success in developing and executing global training programs.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-culturally.Proficiency in digital learning tools and platforms.Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.Ability to travel up to 30% (as per travel policy & business needs).AstraZeneca embraces diversity and equality of opportunity.
