Key Responsibilities:

* Champion environmental safety by providing expert knowledge and guidance to research, development, and customer project teams.
* Foster a collaborative environment by working seamlessly with research and development teams to integrate environmental safety considerations throughout the entire new product innovation lifecycle.
* Partner with external laboratories and consultants to generate critical ecotoxicity and environmental fate data, ensuring the company adheres to the highest safety standards.
* Conduct comprehensive environmental safety assessments, effectively present your findings, and actively participate in discussions with regulatory authorities and industry associations.
* Maintain a pulse on the ever-evolving landscape of global chemical regulations and advancements within the field of environmental safety.
* Proactively participate in strategic projects that propel the company’s long-term objectives and drive its sustainability goals.

Qualifications:

* A university degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a closely related field is essential.
* A minimum of three years of demonstrably successful experience as a Scientific Expert within the chemical sector is required. You will possess a strong understanding of chemical control regulations, registrations, and the intricacies of ecotoxicology.
* Exceptional organizational skills, impeccable communication abilities (written and verbal), and a collaborative spirit are key qualities we seek.
* Fluency in the English language is mandatory.
* Proficiency in in silico tools (e.g., QSAR, ToolBox) and regulatory systems (e.g., IUCLID) will be a considerable asset.
* A demonstrated passion for driving positive change through scientific excellence, creativity, and a commitment to minimizing environmental impact is paramount.

Salary Information:
