As Global Marketing & Product Manager, you will be the strategic owner of product, market, and growth plans across XLPA. This is a pivotal leadership role, combining marketing strategy, commercial excellence, innovation leadership, and stakeholder management across the matrix.

  • This role is part of a succession plan and offers a future path toward VP-level leadership.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
  • Lead global product and market strategies for XLPA
  • Drive long-term volume, revenue, and EBITDA growth
  • Define asset strategy, pricing corridors, and product portfolio optimization
  • Partner closely with R&D, Sales, Technical, and Supply Chain teams
  • Coordinate with regional sales and marketing leads (dotted-line) across EMEA, APAC and the Americas
  • Drive go-to-market strategies, customer value propositions, and new offering launches
  • Identify and execute strategic M&A opportunities in collaboration with the business VP
  • Manage relationships with raw material suppliers and joint venture partners globally (China, Japan)
  • Provide marketing direction into the IBP process and forecast planning
  • Act as a key stakeholder in sustainability and innovation initiatives

You will lead global strategy for a €200M+ business. You’ll work across continents with ownership over product.We are looking for a strategic commercial leader with the drive, credibility, and ambition to grow into a VP role. You understand technical B2B markets, are comfortable in a complex matrix environment, and bring a balance of strategic vision and operational execution.Essential:

  • Master’s degree (PhD or MBA is a plus); preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Business
  • 7+ years in B2B commercial roles in the chemical, polymer or rubber industry
  • Strong experience with product marketing, business strategy, and cross-functional leadership
  • Proven success working in or leading matrix organizations
  • Strategic mindset, commercial acumen, and technical affinity
  • Self-starter with drive and accountability
  • Comfortable with international travel (3-4x/year)
  • Fluent in English

Preferred:

  • Background in rubber-related companies or crosslinking technologies
  • Experience in M&A, joint ventures or strategic partnerships
  • Leadership of cross-regional teams or dotted-line organizations
  • Living in the Netherlands or open to relocation within the EU
