Global R&D Communication Manager
At Lundbeck, we are advancing brain health and improving lives through groundbreaking research and development. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Global R&D Communication Manager to join our dynamic team.
Your new role
As the Global R&D Communication Manager, you will play a leading role in shaping and disseminating our scientific narratives. You will be responsible for translating complex scientific data into compelling stories that resonate with diverse audiences, including stakeholders, media, and the public at large. Your experience in managing global press release approval processes and your keen attention to detail will ensure our communications are compliant, impactful, and aligned with our strategic goals. In your new position, you will work closely with senior stakeholders and affiliates around the world. You will also have the opportunity to build relations with trade media.
Your future team
You would be joining a dedicated team of professionals in Corporate Communication & Branding. We strive to create a working environment where you can be yourself, enjoy your work and contribute to the business while making a real difference to patients, their families and to society as a whole.
The position is based at our headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. We offer flexible working hours and the ability to work from home, but regular on-site presence is required. Relocation is not offered for this position.
What you bring to the team
You are accustomed to the regulatory environment governing pharmaceutical communications and not afraid of complex approval processes involving many stakeholders. Ideally you have at least 5 years of experience from working in a global role within the biotech or pharmaceutical sector. You understand the impact of data and milestone communication and are able to inspire and align cross functional colleagues worldwide around media activities and messaging. It would be an advantage if you already have relationships with health and medical trade media outside of Denmark.
Additional qualifications:
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. A background in neuroscience or a related scientific discipline is highly desirable.
-Proficiency in translating complex scientific data into clear, engaging narratives for various audiences.
-Solid hands-on organizational and project management skills, with keen attention to details.
-Interest in science and a commitment to advancing public understanding of pharmaceutical research.
