DublinCluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately. In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services.Grade IV Receptionist/ Support SecretaryFull Time (35hrs) 12 Month – Fixed Term ContractSaint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Cluain Mhuire Service are now inviting applications for the post of Grade IV Receptionist/ Support Secretary. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users.Role SummaryThe Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering phones, maintaining calendars for appointments/ room bookings, sort and distribution of mail, ordering stationery.Minimum Requirements

  • Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
  • Excellent time keeping ability and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Switchboard experience advantageous
  • Organised, resourceful, proficient in time management
  • Ability to multitask under pressure
  • Previous experience working within a hospital/ Mental Health setting advantageous
  • Minimum 1yr experience in a similar role

RemunerationSalary Grade 0558 Grade IV (Clerical) on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale€35,256 – €54,370 per annum pro ratalocationThe location of this role is Cluain Mhuire, Blackrock, Co Dublin. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.Application Process:The selection process for this competition will compromise several elements to select successful candidates for the position.
