– Write high-performance code in language like C++, and GLSL shaders for rendering engine
– Implementation experience of eg. PBR shading, mesh skinning, mesh morphing, reflections, soft shadows
– Advanced rendering techniques knowledge and capable of implementing
– Post processing effects
– Real-time ray tracing, global illumination, shading models
– Level-of-detail (LOD), culling, texture streaming
– Understanding about rendering engine software design & architecture and content workflows
– Diagnose and fix complex graphics-related bugs (e.g., shader issues, rendering glitches).
– Use debugging tools like RenderDoc, and other analysis tools to analyze and resolve issues.
