The Role

The Greenspace team at Tameside Council looks after a wide range of urban parks and countryside
sites throughout the Borough. We work closely with the community, Greenspace Volunteers, and
partners to deliver a wide range of regular maintenance tasks and one-off projects. It is a

with volunteers carrying out woodland management in the countryside.

About You

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to confidently work with volunteers,
contractors, and elected Members. You will need knowledge of countryside management and/or
grounds maintenance. You will be welcomed into a really positive team and will also need to
work independently and use your initiative.
