Its mobility solutions worldwide through an extensive network in over 140 countries (including wholly owned subsidiaries – 18 in Europe, 1 in the USA, 2 in Australia and New Zealand – completed by franchises and partners).Further details available at:Job DescriptionPOSITION TITLEGroup Head of Health & SafetyThe Group Head of Health and Safety is spearheading the Group commitment to providing a healthy and safe work environment to all its employees, customers and partners, and to ensuring everyone in the company complies with health and safety laws.Main objectives
- To establish and manage a Health and Safety Management System consisting of an organization, a governance framework, policies and standards and KPIs supporting the Company’s mission, strategy, and core values and ensuring compliance with national, international rules and regulations in the area of Health & Safety.
- To monitor performance and compliance of countries operations, network stations, platforms, maintenance centers (owned or outsourced), with the Group Health & Safety Management System.
MAIN AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITYReporting to the Group Operations Director:
- Design, implement and manage the Group’s Safety Management System consisting of the organization, the governance, the policies and standards and KPIs and thereby foster a healthy and safe work environment to Group employees, customers and partners.
- Manage Group Health & Safety Continuous Improvement Plans and Major Corrective Actions plans
- Liaise with external parties i.e., Certification Bodies when required.
- Carry out a permanent intelligence watch on Health & Safety regulations and trends.
- Reports regularly to the Group Executive Committee Health & Safety results, incidents and actions plans
- May be involved and lead major incident investigation with a demonstrated ability to conduct incident reviews and accident investigations in accordance with Company procedures and applicable National rules.
- Lead the network of Country’s Health and Safety managers
Evolving in an international environment, English the daily working language. The position is in relation with the various departments at the head office and countries, works closely with the Group’s Human Resources Direction, Internal Audit and operational teams.This position requires travel, mainly to European countries.INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

- External: Certification bodies (if applicable)
QualificationsPERSONAL PROFILE OF POSITION HOLDERPrevious experience:Minimum 10 years’ experience as Head/Manager or equivalent responsibilities within Health & Safety in an automotive or transport related industry.Education level / certificates:Health and safety EducationCertification for Risk Analysis and Investigation Team Leader.Knowledge of the Company’s accredited company standards ISO 14001/45001Languages:Fluent English, knowledge of a second European language (French, German, Italian, Spanish) is a plusPersonal characteristics:
