Role:

Since 3 years, Acolad data team has built capacities to understand, collect, consolidate and expose operational data from a complex ecosystem, in order to support internal and  external needs.

As head of data, you will shape and execute the overall data strategy and

·        Lead a talented data team (6 persons) with recurring routines and sprint reviews

·        Build and deliver data roadmap with Exec-Team

·        Report / prioritize roadmap through monthly steering committee

·        Mentor team members to ensure their success in their respective roles

 

The Data Team comprises roles with corresponding responsibilities as follows

Data Product management

– Drive the strategic development of data products

– Apply agile methodologies and prioritizing user-centric design

– Foster cross-functional collaboration for seamless execution and successful outcomes.

Data Management

– Demonstrate a profound understanding of the ecosystem, map tools and objects life cycle with precision

– Develop and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary for effective management

– Harmonize taxonomies and implement robust data quality monitoring processes

Data Engineering

– Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines using Python for efficient data flow

Analytics Engineering

– Consolidate and harmonize data in a core data model with Snowflake

Data Analysis

– Drive development of insightful business dashboards using Tableau and thorough understanding of business needs and objectives

Data stewardship

– Manage and coordinate data migration processes, ensuring seamless transition from various group tools to target platforms such as Salesforce and SAP

Requirements

·        Educational Background: possess a Master’s degree in Engineering, Data, Business, or a related field.

·        Proven experience: demonstrate 7 years of working experience, showcasing successful leadership in a data-driven environment

·        Technical Acumen: Exhibit a strong understanding of data technologies, including databases, data warehouses, analytics tools, and data pipelines

·        Project Management excellence: Showcase excellent project management and organizational skills.

Communication Prowess: display strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner for stakeholders
