The Role

 

As Head of Estates, you will provide efficient and effective estate management, give technical expertise and support to surveyors and support staff and assist the Head of Property and Estates with strategy and recommendations.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be/have:

  • Managerial and leadership skills Experience managing performance of others and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential, including increasing diversity and inclusion in teams and / or workplaces
  • Communication skills Excellent communication skills with staff at all levels in the organisation
  • Project management Experience and knowledge in complex organisational contexts 
  • Budget responsibility Excellent financial skills with the ability to create and manage a substantial budget.
  • Excellent knowledge of Landlord and Tenant matters
  • Experience of managing a large portfolio of properties, preferably retail, and delivering to targets in relation to lease events, acquisitions and disposals
  • RICS qualified
