Location: Malakoff (France), Redhill (UK), Barcelona (Spain)

Position Overview 

As the Head of Home, Motor & Health Solutions, you will lead a team of professionals dedicated to designing, innovating, developing, and managing product and service solutions for the those business lines. This role comes with overall accountability for international products and solutions, aiming to enhance customer outcomes and support AXA Partners’ commercial objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Accountability for profitable, commercially fit, and customer-oriented products and services
  • Management, optimization, and development of products and services to meet customer needs
  • Improvement and standardization of terms and conditions, with a focus on customer-oriented wording and computable contracts
  • Global Product owners for developing , managing and innovating customer solutions
  • Final accountability on customer journeys (designed/executed by ‘customer journey’).

Leadership of a high-performance team

This responsibility involves motivating and developing team members using performance management practices, coaching to unlock potential, and identifying and addressing training needs. It also includes nurturing team members with potential for progression, planning their careers, and monitoring workloads for flexible resource sharing. Effective management and monitoring of employee relations issues, leading change, and encouraging innovation are also essential aspects of this role.

Effective communication & relationship management 

You ensure that KPIs are measured, monitored and shared with members of the team, to assist with performance management and engagement in company performance. You develop open channels of communication to enable constructive debate and collaboration, eliciting the ideas and opinions of the team. You build and maintain effective cross-department relationships.

Business Management

You understand the company’s strategy and vision as well as what it means for your role and your team. You manage financial and budgeting procedures as required according to the local market. You ensure that the appropriate risk and controls procedures are in place to ensure compliance with the local regulatory requirements. You participate in activities to support business development and client centricity, according to the requirements of the local market.

IDD

Your role is considered relevant under the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) regulation and therefore you are required to comply with this regulation at all times. You are required to evidence appropriate knowledge and ability to enable you to complete tasks and perform duties adequately and to be determined to be of ‘good repute’.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

About You 

We are looking for a professional with extensive experience in the insurance/assistance business or other market experience relevant to our products (automotive, health or travel) along with strong transformation, innovation, technical and managerial skills. You are familiar working in an international environment. Operational management understanding, and P&L management experience are essential. Additionally, you should demonstrate curiosity and openness to new technologies with international exposure. Leadership attributes such as being a team player, agile, entrepreneurial, results-oriented, strategic, and innovative, with strong networking and team-building skills, as well as a positive mindset, self-awareness, and integrity, are highly valued.
