Job DescriptionHead of Partnerships required to join a growing Quantum Computing company where you will spearhead efforts to connect the business with essential external stakeholders by uncovering opportunities, driving initiatives, and overseeing joint ventures. You’ll oversee a growing team, fostering collaboration across internal departments to align partner requirements with our product strategy.Key Responsibilities

  • Track the evolution of the value chain and external funding opportunities to establish a comprehensive partnership strategy.
  • Design partnership frameworks that build brand recognition and consistently deliver value to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Expand and manage the partnerships team, allocating responsibilities by geography (Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific) and partner type (academic, startups, corporates, IT enterprises).
  • Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with product teams to advance market and product development efforts.
  • Gain in-depth partner insights through networking, event participation, and collaboration with internal teams to refine product alignment and engagement strategies.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and product teams to inform decisions on partnership, in-house development, or acquisitions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior partnership’s role, such as Head of Partnerships or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years in partnership management or business development, ideally in high-tech or R&D-driven industries.
  • Minimum of 5 years in leadership/management roles within relevant sectors (e.g., semiconductors).
  • Strong background in grant acquisition, including familiarity with programs like EIC, DARPA, or IARPA, is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in preparing multi-stakeholder business proposals.
  • Established experience or network in the quantum technology sector is a significant advantage.
  • A PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
