You will report to the General Manager with a dotted line to the P&O Head of Business Partnering. Your team consists of eight highly skilled and committed employees.Are you ready to put the people and animals first?We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of P&O to partner with the GM and Markets Leadership Team and senior leaders to develop and deploy an effective people agenda aligned with the AniCura/Mars Veterinary Health strategic framework.You will serve as a trusted advisor, addressing business and associate challenges by anticipating, e.g., needs, identifying trends and delivering fit-for-purpose P&O solutions that best support market demands while positioning associates for success in partnership with P&O COEs.You will be leading and assisting in the processes of change management as well as leading and facilitating leadership development to encourage growth and collaboration.As the voice of the market into P&O COEs, you will play a key role in shaping new products and services in collaboration with the AniCura Group P&O team. You will be an integral part of Senior Leadership teams, driving the global P&O agenda and advising on business initiatives, best practices and change management. All of this with the aim of implementing crucial HR initiatives, enhancing workforce planning and well-being, shaping culture and driving talent acquisition programs in close collaboration with P&O COEs. Furthermore, you will combine strategic thinking with practical problem-solving skills and build and maintain strong working relationships with key business stakeholders across teams and regions – coaching senior leaders in building business and leadership capabilities.As the Head of P&O, putting the people (and animals) first, you will advocate for employee engagement, thereby ensuring an inclusive and supportive workplace. Here, you will design and optimise structures, ensuring alignment with business.You thrive on developing and improving P&O solutions which are linked to the overall business purpose, and you have a good sense of what is realistic, sufficient and ambitious in a global organisation.Your profile
- A relevant academic degree in business administration, HR or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive P&O and/or leadership experience.
- Experience working at senior levels across different segments and/or industries – proven experience working with international teams and building trusted relationships at all organisational levels.
- Analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills. Organised.
- Strong consulting and coaching skills, ability to influence decisions to a positive business outcome.
- Strong people leader (experience building high-achieving teams and developing them).
- Experience partnering with leaders at both tactical and strategic levels.
- Resilience and willingness to go above and beyond to achieve goals.
- Self-driven. Enjoy working independently while being part of a collaborative team.
- Fluent in Danish and English, written as well as spoken.
