As the Head of Allyz Travel at Allianz Partners, you will be responsible for developing the vision and strategy for Allyz Travel. With Allyz as new core of the strategy Travel LoB, the owner of this role needs to achieve the targets for Strategic dialog and AZ shareholders Capital markets day.
This includes profitable growth by keeping existent Business partners and gain new business in a volatile unsecured environment with new market players and competitive challenges on a global level as well as global roll out of Allyz Travel.
Developing and delivering such a vision is at the core of this very key and critical role and is revealed through a highly compelling and intuitive digital interface and mobile application.
That includes core benefits related to the policy, protection benefits related to the well-being of our customers, and convenience benefits related to making the experience easier for our customers.
This requires leading and steering the strategic partnership with Amadeus and other providers as key contributor for services integrated into Allyz. To meet the holistic global AZ Partners strategy for platforms, the Head of Allyz is responsible for the global roll out of the Travel Allyz platform.
Therefore the strategy for every Business Partner segment needs to be defined and aligned with cross-vertical-platforms.
Success is dependent on driving LoB Travel strategy and having a very profound understanding of market, consumer, and competitive trends as well as having close collaboration with Business Partners and other OEs (level board of management).
What you do
- Market & Customer Research
- Monitor and spot trends in the market, including new benefits, services, and/or functionalities to make the traveler’s journey better.
- Understand the interplay between customer-facing solutions and back-office delivery, thereby building solutions that can be delivered effectively.
- Liaise with market research colleagues to ensure that the Allyz solutions remain top of mind and desirable to both customers and partners.
- Strategic Planning
- Define the strategic position of Allyz relative to the Travel LoB, AzP, and as required, the AzSE value proposition and mission.
- Contribute to LoB strategy through active collaboration with the product, sales, finance, and marketing teams.
- Ensure best practice sharing across the business when necessary.
- Orchestration of SD and PD as related to the Allyz program.
- Ensure compliance of all consumer contents with Legal, Regulator & Group requirements
- Customer Experience
- Ensure the mobile Allyz experience is best-in-class and provides not only utility, but preference, among customers.
- Create a “customer first strategy” by closed-loop feedback
- Product Planning
- Develop Allyz app strategy and build a best-in-class mobile experience grounded in strong products and services.
- Lead cross-functional teams towards the local implementation of new products and innovations (typically including Operations, Networks, IT, Sales, Technical Product, Underwriting/ Pricing).
- Monitor customer satisfaction and product utilization to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.

- Define Go-to-market strategy
- Lead the deployment of the Allyz value proposition in the respective markets and regions.

What you bring
- You bring 15+ years in customer experience, marketing, operations, and digital delivery and broad strategic understanding.
- You succeeded in developing B2B2C business, market knowledge and successful customer orientation
- You show a deep understanding of mobile applications, customer journeys, pain points, and remedies.
- You possess a highly strategic but also creative way of identifying opportunities and achieving success.
- You have experience working with and managing key stakeholders across the organization, including well-developed influence and negotiation skills.
- You have a high level of proficiency and you demonstrate effectiveness in problem-solving
- You are able to present to the highest levels in the organization
- As a strong people leader, you are willing and able to apply professional development techniques with direct reports, while always utilizing a cooperative and cross-functional approach.
- You are able to relate to and effectively work with a diverse group of individuals, groups, and people collaboratively and diplomatically.
- You understand the cost drivers and able to manage/allocate/monitor program budget
