Head of Shared Services Poland, Vice PresidentA Head of Shared Services Poland, Vice President will be a senior role reporting to the State Street Bank International (SSBI) Chief of Staff and responsible for overseeing the service delivery, continuous improvement and transformation of shared service functions provided from Poland to SBBI, United Kingdom and Ireland with their oversight. This includes driving strategic initiatives, managing service delivery performance, and optimizing operational synergies across teams and servicing locations. The role requires strong governance experience, a transformation mindset, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment. This individual will also serve as a key partner in developing the Shared Service Center of Excellence (CoE)model in Europe.Responsibilities Include:Provide strategic leadership and oversight across all Shared Services functions provided from Poland (i.e. Outsourcing, Corporate Secretary, Volcker)Drive operational excellence by identifying opportunities for process optimization to create capacity whilst ensuring best in class service deliveryFoster a culture of continuous improvement and transformation leveraging the effect of scaleDevelop and implement a long-term roadmap for the Shared Services CoE in Poland.Ensure high-quality, compliant and cost-effective service delivery aligned with agreed SLAs and KPIsDrive remediation and continuous improvement programs in collaboration with global and local stakeholders and ensures strong controls are embedded in the process executionOversee Record Retention and Destruction Policy for SSBI through agreed target operating model with the functional/global stakeholders. Maintain ownership, governance and execution of the Policy in SSBIOversee, support or lead the execution of the agreed cross functional, high-impact projects supporting business strategyBuild business cases, deliver executive-level reporting, and act as consultant to senior stakeholdersChampion initiatives that maximize synergies across geographies and service linesEnsure that new, or amended regulatory obligations, industry guidance and best practice applicable to SSBI/UK/Ireland are appropriately assessed and reflected in relevant frameworks and processes’ documentationLead teams and is focused on people development, performance management and keeping the right engagement and retention level.
