Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join a leading water services engineering company in Mallow. With the company’s continued growth, they’re looking to add another member to the Health and Safety Team.Responsibilities:

• Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities
• Stay up-to-date with health and safety regulations to ensure compliance
• Ensure the organization complies with all relevant laws and industry standards
• Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies on health, safety, and environmental matters
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on health and safety performance
• Maintain effective communication with clients to address safety concerns and improvements
• Manage stakeholder expectations by ensuring consistent safety and regulatory compliance

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a HSQE Manager or in a similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Full Irish Driving Licence
